19th Annual Latino Heritage Parade and jamaica to Receive Support From the Pasadena Latino Coalition

PASADENA – The Pasadena Latino Coalition (PLC) is proud to support the 19th annual Pasadena Latino Heritage Parade and jamaica by sponsoring the Children’s Educational Activities area.

“We are proud to be able to support activities that highlight Latino culture and heritage”, said Roberta H. Martínez, PLC Chair. “The parade and jamaica was established to honor our elders and to preserve our collective past. We are fortunate to be able to do so by supporting educational activities at the jamaica.”

PLC’s goal is to shine a light on the experiences of our community; with a focus on the disparity that too often exists in areas of education, employment, health and housing in the city of Pasadena.
